Hajime Nakamura

Hajime Nakamura is a researcher at the Keio Quantum Computing Center.
He received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from University of Tokyo for his research in quantum chemist.

He had worked for SONY for about six years as a researcher and move to IBM Japan in 1984. At IBM Japan he worked in the researches on and developments of the liquid crystal displays, the organic light-emitting diodes, the semiconductor nanowire switching devices to list a few.

His current research interests include applications of quantum computing technologies to computational chemistry and condensed matter physics.
