Koudai Sugimoto

Koudai Sugimoto is currently a senior assistant professor at Department of Physics, Keio University. His research focuses on theoretical and computational condensed matter physics, with a particular emphasis on strongly correlated electron systems. He is also interested in applying quantum computation to problems in condensed matter physics.

He received his B.S. in 2010 from Osaka University, and his M.S. in 2012 and Ph.D. in 2015 from Kyoto University. After earning his Ph.D., he worked as a project assistant professor at the Center for Frontier Science, Chiba University, from 2015 to 2019. He joined Keio University in 2019.
