Shinichi Niimi is a Research Project Manager at the Keio Quantum Computing Center.
He graduated from the Keio University with an undergraduate degree in Engineering (1982) and received his M.S. (1984) from the same university, by optimization theory.
Since 1984 he has worked for International Business Machines Japan to develop the products and technology services in Development Laboratory as developer and management. Recent his focus area is on Hybrid Cloud, Blockchain, High Performance Computing (HPC) and AI/Deep Learning.
In 2019 he joined Keio University as project management in quantum computing projects.
Mr. Niimi is currently project management at Office of Research Development and Sponsored Project, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University.
