Hideaki Kawaguchi is a researcher at the Keio Quantum Computing Center.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Tokyo, and received his M.D. in 2009. He received his Ph.D. in Medicine from The University of Tokyo in 2017.
As well as working as a psychiatrist, he has also been engaged in research in medical informatics, especially in applying data science including artificial intelligence to the medical real world data. He worked as a Project Assistant Professor at the Department of Healthcare Information Management, The University of Tokyo Hospital.
Dr. Kawaguchi is currently a Project Lecturer of the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Keio University. His current research interests are artificial intelligence algorithms using quantum computing and their applications for medicine.
